Vandaag stond er een artikel over cosplay in de NRC-Next. Twee volledige pagina's en ja, het meest wonderlijke moet nog komen, alles wat erin stond was correct. We werden niet afgespiegeld als idioten die allemaal nog uit de kast moeten komen! Cosplay werd haast tot een kunstvorm verheven!

Er werd gezegd dat iedereen met fictie bezig is. Of je nu Goede Tijden kijkt of cosplayed, je bent met fictie bezig, de een alleen iets intensiever dan de ander. Ook werd goed uitgelegd wat anime en manga waren en waarom dit niet kinderachtig of zielig is! De prijs van wijn schiet in heel Azie omhoog als een gerenommeerd manga over een bepaald type wijn schrijft! 

Mijn enige puntje van kritiek is dat ze schreven dat er op Yay con veel meiden verkleed als mannen rond liepen. Dat is op alle cons zo. Op Yaycon lopen juist meer mannen als vrouw verkleed dan ergens anders :p Maar goed, kunnen ze niet weten. En ze schreven dat een kostuum kopen not-done is, maar dat vind ik onzin, want...why not? Als het er goed uitziet? Je kan niet voor elke con een cosplay maken!

Als iemand het artikel wil lezen kan ik het wel scannen. Of ik neem het een keertje mee, nog leuker, kan je de mooie foto's erbij zien, zie je dat ze het echt serieus hebben genomen.

GOED GEDAAN NRC-NEXT!

I was in a candy store yesterday and guess what I found? Dutch Pocky! O_o I never knew it existed! And it was only 60 cent! I bought a package to see if it's any good! Just tried it out and it tastes the same! This is so much cheaper than buying a package at a con! They should sell them in the supermarket!

So this morning I got an anonymous review on fanfiction.net, from a girl/guy who called herself/himself Punk Rock Kitsune. She or he wrote this:

You demented freak **, go sit in a corner and whine abt yr pathetic life that
nobody cares about. Cause u can't write yr way outta paperbag. And pay
attention on yr garmar and spellings freak. ANd listen well, cause I'll just
say this once, U can't write. U can never write. U are a loser and sadly, u
will always be one. Now go kill yrself, jump off a cliff or something and take
yr pathetic family with u.

Seriously laughed my ass off XD

So, did any of you Dutchies read the article in Aniway about Kuroshitsuji? There is this most awesome Kuro poster in it, which is making my wall even more awesome than it already was (even thought I promised not to put up more posters)!

But back to the article, I think we found a guy that is PMS-ing!! Why else would he write about Kuro being such a bad series? Did he even bother to read it? I think he was really negative, even before reading it, and didn't want to see anything positive about it, just because so many yaoi fans love it. If he knew he wouldn't start liking it he shouldn't have agreed on writing the damn article.

He says Sebastian is boring because he is perfect! O_o Okay, please leave me a comment and tell me if you think Sebastian is boring and making the story boring! Doesn't his perfectness makes you wonder how he is going to solve the next difficult problem?

He says Kuroshitsuji is predictable. He probably never reached the part about Noa's arc or better, the zombie filled ship. They contain things I think were not predictable at all.

He says the first chaps are only written to get Sebastian en Ciel in one room. Okay, gotta agree that the beginning is especially lovey-dovey. But normal people call that an introduction (but a PMS-ing guy is not normal, so can't expect much of him, can we?). We gotta get to know the characters and the way they live right? And the lovey-dovey-ness is all fake, because there is so much blood and death in the later chapters!

He says the side characters are a bit cliche and don't have much of a background. Either read more of the manga or watch the anime already. There we get to know more about Bard, Finnian and Maylin and why they are so clumsy. And even if they were super flat characters, gotta love at least one of them, ne?

He is allowed to have his own opinion about Kuro, but he didn't start reading this with an open mind. He could only think about the big, bad yaoi and couldn't see the wonderful story that's behind the love between master and butler. Kinda sad. 

I FINALLY PASSED!! GRADUATED WITH A 7!!!!

I'm so happy I'm finally done at that damned school!! I'm sooo freaking happy! They even said my presentation was really good. Just, omg, I can't believe I'm done at that school! *happy dance*

Don't know yet how many people can come to the graduation ceremony, but I wish I could invite you all!!!!
