Sorry I haven't been keeping up. School has just been so busy, and I've been sick all week.

I'm not sure if I could read a PoT and LoTR crossover. I like both series, but they just seem strange together. I've already voted. I wish I could vote 1st place for everyone.

It got hot last weekend, and now it's getting cold again.

It's true that no player can win 3-5 matches alone, and Echizen is bad at doubles, so he definitely wouldn't win the doubles matches. I get upset how they treat him like some superhero and make the others insignificant. Even worse, he's rude and arrogant, so he doesn't deserve it. That's another reason the ending upsetted me, and I kind of put off seeing the OVA. I didn't want to see him overworshipped again. He is even more overworshipped in TeniMyu. I find Sanada and Yagyuu too arrogant and rude, so I don't want to see them. Kirihara is evil, so he doesn't seem huggable to me.

I heard the sequel is out, but I haven't seen it since there are no English verisons. They better not have Echizen overworshipped again. I hope they have both singles and doubles players. If they are going to show stuff between the Nationals and the end of the school year, I hope they do another Captain Tezuka vs. Fuji match. It would be good to see Captain Tezuka play vs Captain Yukimura.

I can't forget Kikumaru teasing Oishi for wearing his shirt backwards. Actually, that was part of the Golden Pair fight, which started with Kikumaru teasing Momoshiro behind his back. He's lucky that people didn't start thinking badly of him after that, and that Momoshiro didn't hear it. However, in my fanfic, Momoshiro found out because of the big mouth, Horio. I hope that wasn't too illogical. As we were saying, if Captain Tezuka had heard that joke, he would have assigned laps right away, and the Golden Pair wouldn't have a chance to fight. It's good that they can still be together after that fight.

Captain Atobe and Sanada did play doubles, and it was a mess, mostly because of Captain Atobe's ego. Still, that is not a relationship, and if they had one, it wouldn't work. I can't imagine Captain Atobe in the feminine role. I don't know where people get the Atobe/Oshitari pairing. I don't recall them ever interacting. I prefer Dirty Pair, but I don't like either member because they are also rude and arrogant.

I'm recently trying to finish reading a Tezuka/Kikumaru fic. The author hasn't finished it yet. I'm only reading it because I read the prequel. I have this thing of needing to finish something I started. I don't know why I read Part 1 of the story. I guess I just wanted to see how someone wrote a weird pairing. I also read another fanfic of that pairing by an LJ Friend. I think the reason that time was the plot seemed interesting, and I didn't pay attention to the pairing. After several stories on that pairing, I still can't imagine it, so I don't think I'll read anymore fics on that pair.

I changed schools twice in elementary school, but at that time, it didn't matter much. I switched schools for jr. high, and high school was separate, so everyone had to change schools after jr. high graduation. From jr. high on, it's very hard to change school. It's not just friends that makes it hard to change schools. Each school has a different system, so it could mess up your academic schedules and other things.

I always thought Echizen had friends in the U.S. before the series, and in the series he is friends with the other Seigaku regulars. Then again, he probably wouldn't care if he left them behind.

My imagination runs wild, too, or maybe I should say my imagination tends to be vivid. I have trouble coming up with ideas, but I tend to picture things I read or hear about.

Each school has a different system? Schools here all have the same system. If you change schools you can easily go to another school without problems. People often change schools because they don't like their school.

I tried to watch TeniMyu in order. In quite a few of them Echizen is over-worshipped: too many songs with everyone singing about how great he is. I like the DLs. During the Good Combination song in DL2, there was 1 pair I couldn't figure out. They were in regular clothes, and I couldn't tell which school they were from. I began to guess the Gyokurin pair in street tennis clothes. In DL3, there was a part where Captain Tezuka got emotional while singing, which was OOC.

I would like Yagyuu if he weren't so rude and arrogant. To me, he is not a gentleman. Maybe I just have a bad impression on him from when he paired up with Niou, especially when they dressed up as each other and deceived others.

It's the same with Oshitari: I would like him if he were as nice as Fuji, but he isn't. It could be bad impressions again. The first time I saw him was in Epsiode 53 when he was making fun of Seigaku and Fudomine. Afterwards, in the Hyotei match, he was arrogant and saying, "The winner is Hyotei. The loser is Seigaku." That made me hate him more.

I finally read the 1st chapter of the sequel. Someone said it was at OneManga. It seems to be taking place between the Nationals and end of the school year. If so, why is Echizen in America? When he arrived at the camp, there were already some words praising him. I hope they don't start over-worshipping him.

Echizen might miss Momoshiro. I thought he would miss everyone, but with his personality, I don't think he would. I think I read too many fanfics of Echizen missing the whole team. I think he might also miss Captai Tezuka since he seems to be the only one Echizen respects. The whole team should really not do things for Echizen if he is too rude, arrogant, and self-centered.

Momoshiro does seem to forgive, but if he had been there during that joke, he would definitely be upset. Then they would fight. It would have been good if Captain Tezuka had been there when Kikumaru made the joke. Actually, I don't think Kikumaru would dare do that if Captain Tezuka were there. Oishi probably also wouldn't have been acting so irritated either, or Captain Tezuka would punish him. I hope it wasn't too illogial with Horio blabbing to Momoshiro about the teasing and fighting in my fic.

I don't read Tango Pair fics. I don't like that pairing. Their doubles cobination was disastrous, mostly because of Captain Atobe's ego. However, Sanada was also rude and arrogant during the match.

I don't like Tezuka/Kikumaru pairing either. I think the first one I read because I found the plot interesting, and didn't see what pairing it was until several chapters later. However, since I started reading it, I had to finish it. The 2nd one was probably because I wanted to see how someone would write that pair, and I again had to finish it, including the sequel.

Actually, at first I didn't really care about pairings. That's why I liked Pillar Pair for awhile. However, as time passed, and I got to know the characters more and read more fanfics, I realized that I prefer the original traditional pairings. I can still handle Pillar Pair. I sometimes read Dream Pair, but I don't seem to like it as much. At least it's better than Tezuka/Oishi. I sometimes like Fuji/Kawamura, but I still prefer Tezuka/Fuji, Golden Pair, and Ah-un Pair. For Captain Atobe, I think I prefer him with Kabaji or Akutagawa than Oshitari. I think Akutagawa is probably the best for Captain Atobe.

I hope you get a chance to read that fanfic, especially since it's Tezuka/Fuji. Maybe your reading and reviewing the fanfic could encourage the author to continue. Sorry I haven't been reading your fanfics. School is so busy, and being sick is not helping.

In the US, school systems vary by school disctricts. Vacation schedules are often different, and so are the textbooks. Even different schools in the same district can have different systems, so it's hard to change schools. Our jr. highs are 2 years (Grades 7-8), and high schools 4 years (Grades 9-12.

Small countries can be good. The US is huge, and people are mostly gathered on the coasts.

I don't really remember much from DL. All I know is that I love Shirota as Tezuka and Aiba as Fuji ^__^

Why do you think Yagyuu is rude and arrogant. He doesn't do much arrogant things, or does he? I'm just a megane-lover, so I totally love Yagyuu.

Oshitari is really funny, but he can be a teaser XD I don't really care that he says his team will win, since me and my team mates do that too (but we don't say that against our opponents XD;)

I don't really know why Echizen was in America. The third years are still there, so they haven't graduated yet. It's kinda weird.

I never read any fanfic about Echizen missing his team mates, but I don't think he would really miss them. Only Momo and maybe Tezuka too indeed, since Tezuka is such a strong tennis player. Echizen has respect for him, which he has not for Sanada or Yukimura who are also strong players.

I think Eiji is scared of Tezuka. Or maybe I read too many doujins about Eiji being scared of Tezuka XD I don't think he would make a joke like that when Tezuka would be around. Oishi would also react differently.
Horio can't keep his mouth shut. He would tell anything!

I think both Sanada and Atobe have a big ego, but Atobe shows it more than Sanada.

I don't like Atobe with Kabaji, but that's because I don't like Kabaji. He is such a silent monster. He is kinda scary. Like a robot. I really like Jiroh and he is cute with Atobe, so I like them as a pairing.

That's difficult! Schools use different books here, but the vacation is the same almost everywhere. There is one or two weeks difference, because that's arranged by the government.
We don't have Jr. High school. We have High school which is 4,5 or 6 years.

I don't understand Japanese either. I found out Echizen's overly worshipped in TeniMyu through the English subtitles. DL2 got subbed about last month. In DL3, there is a song that overworships Echizen. It was first played in his match against Hiyoshi.

Yagyuu's tone and gestures seemed arrogant during the Rikkaidai matches. Maybe I'm just grouping him with Niou. However, I was mad at him and Niou for dressing as each other and deceiving others in the manga. The Dirty Pair said that they will win against the rivals. If I want to say my team will win, I prefer to keep it within my team. Then again, I've never been on a sports team.

I guess all the rudeness and arrogance in real life has got me fed up. Being raised with the importance of modesty has probably affected my thinking and interpretations.

In the original ending, it seemed like Echizen was flying back to America on the plane after the 3rd years graduated. The PoT series have quite a few weird things. At times, I find contradicting things. It's as if the producers are confused or unable to decide what to do.

I guess Echizen doesn't have respect for rival players. I always thought he would miss his friends, probably because I know I would. Getting separated from friends often tears me apart, and watching the team separate did as well. However, after watching and reading the series more, it sounds like Echizen wouldn't miss people. I think the last episode before the OVA also made it sound like Echizen would miss the team. During his match with Captain Tezuka, he did everyone's moves, thanks them, and bursts into tears. Then again, the filler episodes often have OOC things.

I think most people are afraid of Captain Tezuka. I know I would be. If I saw him in real life, I think I'd be too scared to approach him. This means the Golden Pair would act differently if he had been there, and they wouldn't have fought. I'm glad my having Horio blab the fight to Momoshiro wasn't illogical. In the fic, I had Captain Tezuka punish him for gossipping and exaggerating too.

Sanada does not show his ego or emotions very much. He is also a wooden block, like Captain Tezuka. Captain Atobe won't hesistate to show his ego and emotions.

Sorry if I didn't explain it well. I found the plot interesting though I didn't like the pairing. I also have a thing against starting or stopping in the middle. For example, if I miss the beginning of a movie, I won't even bother watching it, and if I start a movie, I have to watch till the end even when I don't like it. I just have something against incomplete.

I find Kabaji scary, too. I agree with most people that he is like a robot. I think for Captain Atobe, I prefer him with Akutagawa.

The "I like to see others suffer" wasn't what made me like Fuji. I liked him because he was nice. Same with Captain Tezuka: not becaues of his glasses, but he is nice. I like people and characters because of good personalities, not how they look.

It's good you read and commented. I think she got most of the reviews after announcing that she was discontinuing.

I have general ideas for my fics. It's just the minor details that are hard. I'm also busy and unable to work on them.

Vacation schedules vary by district here. Even if they differ by 1 or 2 weeks, it's also hard to make family plans. When you get to college and above, there are even more differences.

Yes, they made it difficult for themselves. They didn't stick to the manga and in the end they had some trouble. Like the match between Tezuka and Fuji. That never happens in the manga, but it did in the anime. In the end of the manga Tez promises Fuji a match. In the anime he does too, but they've already played!

I would miss my friends too! I don't like being seperated from my friends for so long. Seigaku seperating almost made me cry.

There aren't many differences in vacations in college or university. Almost every college or university student in the Netherlands has vacation at the same time.

No, you can't choose. The smartest kids go to what we call 'VWO'. That's 6 years. Less smart kids go to 'HAVO' that's 5 years. And then there is 'VMBO'. VMBO is seperated in a few different other things, but it's all 4 years. Before we go to high school, we make a test and the results of that test say where you will go to.

I'm not a sports person so I've never been on a sports team.

I think the reason I got mad at the Platinum Pair dressing as each other is because I hate deceit, especially after being betrayed and deceived a lot in life.

I can't stand rude or arrogant people in both RL and fiction. To me, fiction is an escape from reality and is supposed to have an educatinal purpose, so I don't want RL, such as rudeness and arrogance in fiction. If there are rude or arrogant characters, then they should be punished (educational purpose). That's how stories were like when I was a child: bad always punished, good always rewarded.

I think they should have stick to the manga to save trouble. I didn't really like the 3rd ranking match and the U.S. Open thing. They should have left those out, then have a Tezuka/Fuji match after the Nationals or in the sequel. After the anime strayed from the manga, characters got OOC at times.

What I couldn't stand was the amnesia thing. That made me not really look forward to the OVAs. Other reasons were the abrupt ending and Echizen getting overly worshipped again. Then Seigaku separating gave me appetite problems and almost drove me to tears.

I would get intimidated by Captain Tezuka. I have a fear of getting scolded or something similar. Sanada is even scarier. I was kind of glad he lost to Echizen. Almost all the players Echizen beat were rude and arrogant, making Echizen seem nice. They should have had Echizen lose to a nice player, so I was glad he lost to Captain Tezuka. I just wish it were an official match. They should also have him lose to Fuji, too, instead of not finishing a game. I wish Captain Tezuka instead of Echizen had won against Captain Atobe and Sanada. As we said, they should have had Captain Tezuka win against Sanada, so we didn't have to see Echizen win against Captain Yukimura. If that's the case, then they wouldn't have to panic to help him get back his memories (and still be looked down by him), but they really should have left out the amnesia thing in the first place.

I have to finish books, too, as well as movies and fics.

Vhii1217 should really continue that fic. I hope she will now that she's received more reviews. If school weren't so busy, I probably could have progressed further on my fics and read more of your fics. I'm glad it's good I had Captain Tezuka punishing Horio in my fic. I originally didn't plan that, but some people said that they liked seeing Captain Tezuka assign laps, so I extended the morning practice scene to give him more chances to assign laps. I then began to think of some reasons for giving laps, and Kaidou trying to provoke Momoshiro as well as Horio's gossipping and bragging came to my mind.

U.S. colleges and universities have different vacation schedules. To make it worse, some go by quarter system while others go by semester, and that throws things off.

Your country's school system sure is hard. However, it's like that in Asian countries, too: high schools determined by tests. My parents went through that. This means tests for high school could separate the regulars of Seigaku and other teams. I really don't want that, and since it's fiction, the producers can have them in the same schools. I'll be upset if further in the sequel they separate the team members. My parents said that in Asian countries, jr. high is 3 years, and high school is also 3 years (like in PoT). In the U.S., you just enter high school right after jr. high without tests.

Some areas of the U.S. are below sea level, but most of the coast isn't. Still, the sea level seems to be rising.

*hugs* I'm really sorry for you! I know how it feels to be deceived or betrayed. They did that to me too, a lot. But when I watch anime I forget about such things, so then I don't mind the Platinum Pair dressing as each other. The same with fiction. It helps me forget the real world. When I see or read about a rude or arrogant character, I just smile. Rude and arrogance make anime and fics more realistic, but at the same time I know such things could never exist in RL.

The line between good and bad is really thin.

When I watch such a long anime as PoT, I start to really love the characters. They're like my friends. When they get seperated, I get sad too.

I had a coach that was worse than Tezuka. He was never really friendly and he laughed at people. So I think I wouldn't mind Tezuka as Buchou.
To be honest, I love Sanada. I don't know why, but he is really....I think because he is so handsome and he has awesome hair. XD
Echizen should lose from Fuji, Tezuka, Sanada and Yukimura. Tezuka should beat Sanada and Atobe! Then I would be happy ^__^

I still can't find the ones after DL5. During the first few TeniMyus, there seemed to be more Tezuka/Fuji and Emerald Pair. However, as the musicals progressed, they seemed to shift towards Pillar Pair and Momoshiro/Kaidou. I wondered why they couldn't keep it Tezuka/Fuji, Emerald Pair, and Ah-Un Pair.

Echizen is overly worshipped a lot in TeniMyu. There are quite a few songs where everyone sings praises about him, and in quite a few scenes, he individually gets a special entrance and introduction.

It's really too bad that Echizen is overly worshipped, but still, I watch for the other characters, not for Echizen.
