Happy Birthday Tina-chan!

This is a birthday fic for

chibikaoruchan . Happy birthday Tina-chan! You almost forgot your own birthday, but I didn't XD I wanted to post Detective Tezuka chap 3 today, but I couldn't finish it in time, sorry! I wrote another fic, a bit short, but I hope you like it!

Summary: In this fic Tezuka and Fuji don't know each other (yet). Fuji is in the library and he needs help. Shall he ask Tezuka?

Library

Fuji sighed. He didn’t hate the library, but he didn’t really like it either. It was too silent, it was filled with geeks and worst of all he couldn’t reach the highest bookshelves. He was there for 20 minutes already and he had only one of the six books he needed. He could ask Eiji for help, but his friend was only a few centimetres taller and he couldn’t reach the highest bookshelves either.

The blue-eyed boy walked around the library and searched for a step-ladder or anything else he could use to get those books, without success. While he stared at one of the books he needed, he wondered how other small people got their books from the highest shelves. Maybe they asked one of the geeks. He could ask Tezuka Kunimitsu. The guy was always in the library, but he was definitely not a geek. He was the captain of the tennis team, the president of the student council and way too handsome to be a geek. To be honest, Tezuka was the only reason why Fuji didn’t mind going to the library.

But the bespectacled boy was really serious. He probably wouldn’t like to be disturbed by Fuji only to get him some books he couldn’t get himself. Who else could he ask to get those books? He won’t ask any of the other guys. Fuji knew they always stared at him, even now he could feel their eyes on his back. He sighed again. Maybe Inui could help him. He had to be here somewhere, Inui was always in the library, and he was tall enough to get him those books.

Tezuka watched the blue-eyed boy walking around. It seemed he was searching for something. He had seen the boy before, his name was Fuji Syuusuke, and the boys of his tennis team often talked about him. Many of his teammates had a crush on him and they all called him a tensai. They talked about his sweet smile and his amazing blue eyes.

Tezuka never really liked the popular guys and girls. Most of them were dumb; they couldn’t even find the library. But Fuji was different. He was pretty, friendly and helpful, like most of the other popular kids, but not dumb at all, the teachers praised everything he did.

The bespectacled boy looked at Fuji again. The honey-haired boy was staring at one of the books on the top of the bookshelf. Fuji could never reach it, he was too small. Tezuka understood why some of his friends had a crush on that guy. The honey-haired boy was indeed pretty. He had closed his eyes, so Tezuka couldn’t see if they were blue. Fuji didn’t smile, probably because he couldn’t get what he wanted. Tezuka stood up.

Fuji turned around to search for Inui and almost bumped into someone. He stammered an apology and looked up. When he saw he almost bumped into Tezuka, his eyes widened and he apologized again.

Tezuka looked at the tensai, now open, eyes. They were indeed a beautiful colour.

‘Which one?’

Fuji looked bewildered. What was Tezuka talking about?

‘Which book do you need? I’ll get it for you.’

The smile returned to Fuji’s face and he told Tezuka the names of the books he needed. The taller boy took the books from the shelves. His friends were right about that smile too. Fuji had a really sweet smile and a beautiful voice. When he got all the books that Fuji needed, Tezuka returned to his table and placed the books next to his own and sat down. The blue-eyed boy stood next to the table. Should he sit down? Next to Tezuka?

‘If you ever need help again, just ask.’ said Tezuka.

Fuji’s smile got even brighter. Those words were an invitation. He quickly sat down, next to Tezuka. The library wasn’t that bad after all.

I didn't find Kaidou funny or cute because of his bullying, scary looks, and other bad traits. He did seem to improve after training with Inui for doubles.

Captain Tezuka losing to Captain Atobe upsetted me. I was really mad at Captain Atobe that time. I didn't like the Gyokurin pair during the district tournament either. I hope I didn't make them too OOC, or their situation too illogical, in my fics. I wrote them based on my interpretations of them in Episode 53. At that time, I thought that losing to the Ah-Un Pair made them less rude and arrogant. I also wanted to give them and Momoshiro a chance to settle what happened during their street tennis game in Episode 53. I guess that comes from my wanting things settled and justice served. I know I shouldn't have let my personal feelings get into the way of my fics, but I did unfortunately.

I'm still glad that the Ah-Un Pair won against the Gyokurin pair. It would have been good it they had the Ah-Un pair play against a nice pair and lost. I just thought of something... Captain Atobe and Sanada didn't do well in doubles during the games against the U.S., and they won. They should have made them lose since they're so rude and arrogant. Actually, they should have paired Captain Atobe with Echizen, and have them lose.

Sad songs depress me, but some are beautiful.

Sengoku is silly, but at least he's nice.

The Golden Pair are usually the first to confess their love or get together in fanfics. I guess it's because they don't have antisocial members, unlike the other Seigaku pairs.

Some of the U.S. school lockers also use keys while others use combination locks.

Kaidoh becomes nicer in the end, after he played doubles. I'm glad about that! ^___^

Everybody let's personal feelings into the way when they write fics. It's impossible not too. Guess that's also a part of your writing style. I don't think it's a bad thing! ^__^

The Ah-Un Pair was too bad to play again XD Echizen just sucks at doubles. It would be fun to watch him play doubles again, but I understand why Konomi-sensei didn't make him play doubles after that.

Eiji and Oishi are always together, they're in sync. They talk about everything and they're almost always together. That's probably why they always confess their love first. They don't have to become closer to each other before they confess their feelings.

What exactly is 'seconded'? Does that mean that a second person has to say that he/she likes the fic?

I like it when characters change for the better, such as Kaidou becoming nicer after playing doubles with Inui.

I just hope I didn't make the Gyokurin pair too OOC or their situations too illogical in my fanfics.

After that disastrous game against Gyokurin, they definitely wouldn't let the Ah-Un Pair play doubles again. I just wish they had faced nicer players instead of those two, and lost to them. I wish they would have Echizen play doubles, followed by people saying "mada mada dane," to him as a punishment.

At first, I found it strange that the Golden Pair could get along so well because their personalities are opposites. I guess it's because "opposites attract," and their strengths and weaknesses happen to fit together. I've realized that most of the doubles pairs are opposites in personalities. The "opposites attract" thing sure came up in my results for the PoT tests at Quizilla: saying that I'm like Oishi, and my Seigaku match is Kikumaru.

That's kind of what it means. To second means to approve or support a nomination or proposal. I really find that "second" thing picky and unnecessary. I think just nominations are enough. I finally wrote an entry about that site: http://speadee.livejournal.com/51600.html

Guess it's true that opposites attract. Tezuka and Fuji, Eiji and Oishi, Echizen and Momo, Inui and Kaidoh. They're opposites. But that makes it more fun.

I chose "Dragon Genius" because it was more unique. There were also rules I had to follow, such as the stories being at least 1000 words, and completed or updated in 2008.

I liked the part in the beach volleyball where Echizen said, "Mada mada dane," and the rest said, "You are!"

Thanks! They said those things just because I didn't want to watch an empty house for 4 days. If it had refused an emergency situation, then their behavior would have been more reasonable. Maybe they just wanted to attack as well as not admit what they did wrong, which is typical of them.

I know this is evil of me, but I still wish bad things to happen to them. I often can't stand people in my family. I hope I'm not alone in feeling this way.

It's good to see Echizen being "mada mada dane" for once though I don't remember if he won the beach volleyball game. I think he ended up paired with Captain Tezuka.

I'm not sure if I want to watch the Nationals Finals OVA. I don't want to sit through that amnesia thing. Besides, those episodes will constantly remind me of the end, which would bother me.

I think opposites are required at times. For example, if you have 2 people like Captain Tezuka, then there wouldn't really be any communication, and it wouldn't work out. That's why I don't think Pillar Pair would work as well as Tezuka/Fuji or Ah-Un Pair. The Golden Pair really works well together. The exception is Inui and Kaidou. Those two are pretty similar: scary-looking, silent, antisocial, and rude (well, rude in different ways). In some situations, similarities bring people together.

I find opposites in rival school pairs, too: Kisarazu/Yanagisawa, Dirty Pair, and Silver Pair.

Echizen didn't win, Tezuka and Echizen were the last ones who lost their match against the coaches. They lost because of Echizens serve, I think.

I will watch the OVA's, I wanna see Fuji playing against Nioh! That must be a really awesome match! I don't wanna see the amnesia thing either, but Fuji is worth watching everything XD

Yes, it's better to have two different persons together. Eiji could never be together with someone like himself. Same for Tezuka, Oishi, Momo and Echizen. It wouldn't work. Maybe Fuji can live together with someone like himself, but someone like Tezuka is better for him.

Yes, especially the Silver Pair. Shishido and Ohtori are completely different

My parents have said such things and other bad things in the past as well. Their excuse is "It's for your own good" and "Better words are piercing to the ears."

As of today, I'm still having trounble eating because of them, but I know they'll just say, "That's your problem" or "You deserve to suffer." If I complain about something they did, they will just point out all the things they did for me. Well, they might have supported me physically, but that can't compare to the attacks they make. I also just don't feel like doing anything these days. I'm afraid this is the end of me. I don't think I have long to live.

Even if I don't want to watch the OVAs, I'll still watch to the end because I need to finish them. Besides, like you said, it would be good to see Fuji's match though I don't like Niou.

Most of the PoT characters could never be with those like themselves. There would be too many communication problems with two people like Captain Tezuka. If both are like Oishi, then it would be too much worrying. Two people like Kikumaru or Momoshiro would be chaos. I'm surprised they get along with each other. If both are like Echizen, it would become an ego contest.

If you feel that bad because of them, just leave, let them be. If you really feel like you won't have long to live, why don't you leave them? Live on your own, be happy, have fun, while you still can. You have almost always problems when you visit them, right? Why don't you just leave them be. You have the right to live life the way you want.

Thanks! I would not see them or at least stop talking to them for awhile if I were financially independent. Unfortunately, I'm not. I can't handle school and work at the same time, and it's so hard to find a job. Even worse, everything is a ripoff.

I didn't like Niou impersonating Captain Tezuka. That's one thing I don't like about him: faking and pretending to be others. If I want to see a match between Captain Tezuka and Fuji, I want it to be the real Captain Tezuka, not some impersonation.

It makes sense that Kikumaru and Momoshiro are friends because they get to do mischievous things together. Some people call them partners-in-crime. However, as we were saying, Kikumaru fits better with Oishi, and Momoshiro with Echizen. Dream Pair is fine too, but I prefer Golden Pair. I don't like Thrill Pair because it doesn't make sense. I can handle Pillar Pair, but I still prefer Tezuka/Fuji and Ah-Un Pair. I don't really like Momoshiro/Kaidou either.

How long do you have to go until you finish your school? After that you can start working, then you don't need your parents anymore.

I don't like it either, like Nioh can't win when he plays his own style.

Sorry for the delay. It was hard to get on LJ at my parents' house because of lack of privacy and slow computers. I do have follow-up entries, and I began to think that it's an issue of control. I'm not sure how much longer school will take, especially with how my school is so disorganized. However, the school's disorganization seemed to be a benefit to me this time as it allowed me to return to my apartment sooner. The follow-up entries explain it.

I have friends whom I have trouble getting presents for. In my family, I have trouble figuring what to get my dad and brothers. Actually, I'm like that too because what I really want, money can't buy.

I think Fuji is nice too, so he wouldn't put wasabi in the food if he knows the ones eating wouldn't like it. Another Captain Tezuka vs. Fuji match would be good (and with the real Captain Tezuka). I hate Niou for his deceit.

I kind of included Kikumaru and Momoshiro being partners-in-crime in my fics. Actually, I think I mentioned "partner-in-crime" in the fics too. I've read some Momoshiro/Kaidou fics, but I still prefer Inui/Kaidou and Momoshiro/Echizen. I've also read some Tezuka/Oishi fics, but I still prefer Tezuka/Fuji and Golden Pair. Captain Tezuka and Oishi as well as Dream Pair seem better as friends only. I also saw a few Tezuka/Kikumaru, but I still have trouble imagining that pair. I've read Oishi/Fuji before, but I just don't like it. Maybe they're too similar.

I've also watched some of the PoT Musical. Some of it is good, but there's one thing I can't stand: Echizen being overly worshipped.

Don't worry about it, I've been busy, didn't have much time ^__^
You don't know how much longer school will take? You don't know when you will be finished there? Must be difficult. I know exactly what I still have to do, when I have to do it and when I will be finished.
