Hay everyone, I'm back from vacation!
I missed my computer and I really missed you all!
I'll will reply on your comments later, and I will also read all your posts, I'll be busy XD
Vacation was fun! The weather was (too) good, really hot. It had been raining for weeks so we were afraid that we would have a rainy vacation, but we were lucky! Seven sunny days!
Some people wanted me to make photo's. I did. I made 225 photo's XD
I won't show them all, that's way too much, so here are a few pics!!
This was the house we stayed in, really small.
Me and my brother (he is 17) in the garden XD We're both idiots XD
This pic is taken on a place that used to be a camp for Jewish people, in the second World War. From here they were transported to Poland. In Poland they got killed. There are only a few things left. This railway is a monument.
We also went cycling. Most people in the Netherlands love cycling, like my parents. I don't like it, but I had to go.
Btw, I love to make funny pictures of myself XD Just like this one! Completely weird! We stopped for lunch in the woods and there I made this photo. Oh, I also love to wear my cap when I'm on vacation XD
We also visited a museum. These statues are from China, from a tombe, maybe you've heard about them before. I really wanted to see them. I wasn't the only one, so many people! ^_^"
This is typical for the place stayed, a Hunebed or dolmen. Don't know the English name. We don't have such things in the city XD
My brother and sister in law visited!! This is my brother, he is 28, and he is also insane XD
And we ate panecakes with my oldest sister (32), her husband and 2 daughters. Me and my sis! Now you know why I wear a cap, my hair is...strange XD
And her 3 year old daughter, with my brothers sunglasses XD
And her 10 months old daughter, cute girls ne?
Tina-chan!! Look, I'm on my way back to Saturn! I can already see it!
Okay, that was enough, ne? XD
Eveyone who is really bored and wants to see more pics, click here. But the comments are in Dutch ^_~

11/8/08 02:34 (UTC)Well, I guess we don't have high school here then. All grades 7-13 (I'm not very sure) are called middle school or secondary school.
Hecatoncheires, what a long word.xD Guess you and Fuji are also tensai, to know such a long name.xD
It doesn't really matter now I think...since I don't think it will ever work.

11/8/08 16:02 (UTC)It's not that many, I've only seen 6 countries. Actually 7, I've seen the Netherlands too, of course XD
I would love to go to Japan XD But you already knew that XD I also want to go to New Zealand! Must be a beautiful country!
We don't have middle school. We have a school for children from 4-12. Then everybody goes to different schools. More inteligent people will go to high school for 6 years. Less smart kids go to high school for 5 or 4 years.
I also forget Hecatoncheires XD I'm not a tensai, I use Wikipedia XD
Why don't you stop the relationship if you already know it will never work? Sorry, I'm way too curious.

12/8/08 01:53 (UTC)It seems complicated. At my place, we can have free education till the 3rd year of middle school. And then it's up to your grades and your own choice to continue studying or not. If you want to continue studying in the middle school but your grades weren't good enough. Then you have to continue your study in some institute instead.
I don't know how to speak it out. Besides, I still want to try even I don't think it will ever work. Maybe my thought is wrong and it will work out just fine. It sounds incompatible. But yeah, that's what I think right now.

12/8/08 08:56 (UTC)New Zealand has indeed a lot of sheep, but the nature there is really beautiful!
That seems indeed more easy. But kids who aren't really smart, don't have to learn the same things as kids who are smart. Everybody learns on his own...I guess 'level' is a good word. If you're really smart, you learn more stuff than when you're less smart. It's difficult to explain >__<
You should keep it like this if that's what you want ^___^

13/8/08 08:27 (UTC)I guess it's not a problem to let them learn the same things despite their level. However, the teaching speed and method should adjust according to their level. But the most important point should be the real interest of those kids. We can't force them to learn something they really doesn't want.
Guess so...maybe I'll know what should I do when I see him again.:)

13/8/08 09:01 (UTC)That's true, they should get the opportunity to learn what they want to learn. We can't choose what we want to learn the first years. I went to high school for 5 years. The first three years I couldn't choose what I wanted to learn, but the last 2 years I could.
You should talk to him XD
