Sorry for such a late reply again. School has continued to be busy, and I have finals this Saturday.
I meet people through both LJ and FFNet. I think for fanfic friends, I met most of them at FFNet first, then LJ. It's good you post on both FFNet and LJ. If I update a fic or post a new one, and want LJ people to know, I usually just make an entry about it with a link to the FFNet page.
I was hesitant about getting a Xanga account for a long time. However, some of my friends from LJ are mostly on Xanga, so I also started a Xanga account in March. Whatever I post at LJ, I also post at Xanga, except for surveys, LJ Writer's Block questions, and Xanga featured questions.
Quite a few writers make characters OOC. Fortunately, you don't. If the OOC is within reason, then it's fine, because people do change. Actually I like OOC in a good way. For example, I like it when the character has more manners in the fanfic than in the original works. However, if it's OOC in a bad way I can't stand it. For example, I can't stand it when a character in a fanfic has less manners than in the original works, or if they make a good character evil. That is an insult to the characters.
I always want happy endings, especially in fiction. I don't get along with tragedies and other sad stuff.
I agree about Yuuta deserving to be king, and Syusuke would definitely agree to it. He wants good for his brother. Yuuta also deserves to win against Echizen, and Echizen deserves to lose at times. Nanjirou needs to lose, too. He's not just rude and arrogant, but also too flirty, perverted, improper, and irresponsible. I've always hated that character.
The State of Self-Actualization and Pinnacles were amazing. However, the Pinnacle of Perfection was a disappointment. After the first two being special and requiring so much skill, the last one requires nothing, but just enjoying tennis. It's like all that work for nothing, or for something worse. They should also have Captains Tezuka and Yukimura getting them, too.
Society isn't old-fashioned or morally high, but I still stick with my high morals. "Traditional" and "old-fashioned" also varies by individual, family, and culture.

I never heard of Deawoo Tacuma.
