O.O They're dead....

but somehow I think any other ending might have either felt like cheating or turned this into a multi-part story. And wartime multi-part stories are bound to turn dark, one way or another [usually at least] <.<

That said, while the story was incredibly sad, I much enjoyed reading it. ^^ Tezuka's actions struck me as special - but as it's Fuji concerned, well... Poor Fuji, though. *sob*
